Adding photos

Finally got my new photo scanner. I am very pleased that the interface is basically the same as my great old one that didn’t make the last 2 computer OS upgrades. Of course there have been a few glitches with the main one being that during a scan, the preview would be perfect however the final scan was ascew. After a check with the manual that got me in the right direction, I got the problem corrected, though not quite like the instructions said.

New photos of Joy have been uploaded with more to come of her and Sky, Party, Dash, Maria, and Ellie.

Joy is visiting Maryland

Joy left the other day to visit Maryland. There’s rumors of a beau for her out there. More updates on this soon. Instead of my making the full drive out there from here in Illinois, she was able to hitch a wonderful ride in Ohio for the rest of the way. My, that was a huge blessing.

Party’s OB class

Well, we had our last night of competition beginner obedience at Peoria Obedience Training Club or POTC for short. It was an 8 week class to prepare for the new AKC class called like Beginner Novice. We had never done long sits and downs before & though it is not in the BN, we practiced for it anyway. All that and the heeling, not including sitting after a few yrs of not sitting because of conformation, was quite intimidating for Party and since I haven’t been in the competition ring for few years, it was for me too.  Anyway the result was a much more relaxed us. LOL. That last night we ran a actual course and had a little graduation party. We were thrilled. We had our first run-off and took 3rd place. Not bad for some lagging, some crooked sits, and a couple no sits. Obviously, more practice is needed before we can enter the ring for that next title. Till later…
